Remote Connect with RDP

Windows servers have a few different methods to allow you to control it from anywhere with a full desktop experience.

Your Windows server can be accessed remotely from anywhere using Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). We recommend using one of the applications below for the best experience. Personally, we recommend RoyalTS for our customers as it’s the best option for managing multiple servers. Windows Remote Desktop (now known as Windows App) is another good option as well.

Microsoft’s newest remote access application for Windows & macOS.

Connection Tips
  • Copy and paste works between your local machine and server by default in most RDP clients.
  • You can run multiple remote sessions simultaneously.

If you are unable to connect to your server, please open a support ticket and include the server IP address, the RDP application you’re using, and a screenshot of any error messages. This will help us diagnose and resolve connection issues as quickly as possible.
